Privacy Policy
Effective August 3, 2026
Tenfold is a card game. It is designed to work without accounts, sign-ups, or tracking. This policy describes the little information the game does handle, and what happens to it.
Information the game handles
- Display name. The name you type on the home screen is shown to the other players in your game. It can be anything — it does not need to identify you, and we suggest it doesn't.
- Game state. While you play online, our server holds the state of your game (cards, scores, turns) and a random session token that lets you rejoin if you disconnect. Game data is deleted automatically when the game ends or is abandoned — typically within minutes, at most a few hours.
- Connection data. Like every internet service, our hosting provider (Fly.io) processes your IP address to deliver the connection, and it may appear briefly in routine server logs. We do not use it to identify or profile you.
- On your device. The app stores your display name and, during an online game, a room code and session token — locally, only so you can resume an interrupted game. Deleting the app deletes them.
- Feedback you send. If you use the in-app "Send feedback" form, we store the message you write (plus the display name and app version, to make sense of it). It's used only to improve the game. We keep it for as long as it's useful for that, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time — see Deleting your data.
Crash and performance reports
If the app crashes or misbehaves, a diagnostic report may be sent to Sentry, our error monitoring service. These reports contain technical details (device model, operating system version, how the app was performing and what it was doing at the time) and a random installation identifier that Sentry generates so repeated reports from the same install can be grouped together. That identifier is not tied to your name, is not an advertising identifier, and is not used to follow you across other apps or websites. Reports are used only to find and fix bugs, and are retained by Sentry for 90 days.
What we don't do
- No accounts, emails, or phone numbers.
- No advertising, ad identifiers, or cross-app tracking.
- No analytics profiles; no sale or sharing of data with anyone.
- No precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone access.
Deleting your data
There are no accounts, so there is nothing to close. Game data deletes itself when the room ends, and the display name, room code and session token the app keeps on your device go when you delete the app. The only thing that persists on our side is feedback you chose to send — email us at the address below and we'll delete it. Crash and performance reports age out of Sentry automatically after 90 days.
Children
Tenfold is suitable for general audiences and collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Display names are free-text; players should not enter real names or personal details.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
